• 28 years of experience in legal practice.
• 25 years as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya since July, 1975.
• 3 years as an Advocate of the High Court of Gujarat, India.
• Started her Career in Kenya as a lecturer in law At K I A – Lower Kabete to Administration and Police Officers in 1973.
• First Lady lawyer to establish her own private practice in Kenya in 1975.
• Successful private practitioner in criminal, civil, commercial and conveyancing.
• Appointed as Commissioner of Assize of High Court of Kenya in July, 1999.
• Appointed to the High Court Of Kenya as a Puisne Judge on 2nd June, 2000.
• Has been assigned duties in Family Division, Civil Division and has sat in several constitutional benches. Currently attached to Criminal Division of the High Court.

Family:

• Hails from a family with background in law.
• Married to Dr. Hasmukuh Rawal who is an Educationalist.

Children:
1st Son: Vivek Hasmukhrai Rawal - Age 28 years.

• Completed degree in Law at Cambridge University United Kingdom, now settled in U.K.

2nd Son: Kunal Hasmukhrai Rawal - Age 21 years

• Completed ‘A’ Levels at Harrow School in London and at Present is at NYU (New York University) studying Business Economics.
• He is an ardent and successful Golfer. Captain of the golf team at NYU.
