7th Biennial Conference
Preparations are underway for the 2004 7th Biennial Conference to take place in Kampala and Entebbe, Uganda from May 8 through 12, 2004. The chosen theme of the Conference, "Access to Justice," lends itself to many exciting programs that are especially germane to women in the communities served by IAWJ members. In light of the theme's broad relevance, the IAWJ leadership body agreed to present a resolution at the Conference proposing that the "Access to Justice" theme to be adopted as the IAWJ's priority issue, guiding the national associations as they develop action plans for the next biennium 2004 to 2006.

Creative Justice, 6th Biennial Conference
The VI Conference of the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ) was held in Dublin, Ireland in May, 2002. It was officially opened by Mary McLease, the President of Ireland, who congratulated women Judges, especially the older ones for having blazed a very bright trail that gave those who came after an easier and much less cluttered path to follow.
